Cant Ollie

cant ollie

Is there for some reasons that you can't do the ollie?
Is there something that you did wrong?
Eager in getting your first ollie?

Here are 5 key factors to keep in mind if you can't ollie:

1) Keep your front foot centered on the board ( To keep your skateboard straight when you are up in the air )

2) Getting a nice clean pop keeping both feet in the board instead of just jumping high ( To keep control of the board in the air )

3) Keep trying different foot positions, different ways of standing ( As we said on the previous post, the stance is very important! Maybe the stance that you are using is not suitable for you. Keep changing foot positions and way of standing until you get that "perfect" stance. )

4) Ask some of the more experienced boarders ( Get some tips/advice from boarders who knows how to ollie. Show how you do your ollie to them and they can see what mistakes that you are doing)

5) Watching more videos ( Some of the videos out there gives you really good advice on how to do the ollie. See carefully how they do it and just "copy" the way they did it )

Hopefully with this 5 simple factors, you won’t have to say the word " Cant Ollie" anymore. Hope you get your ollie the next time you practice!
